The Seattle Alliance is a coalition of educators from diverse fields
dedicated to providing a higher level of academic achievement,
creative growth and development, and cultural heritage knowledge
and appreciation to all youth, and in particular, African American youth in the Seattle and Puget Sound School Districts. The Seattle Alliance is committed to providing professional support to African American educators.
We offer a variety of African American centered activities, events and
projects designed to involve African
American youth, parents, teachers and the community in all phases of
African American life within the public school program.

A Community Action Plan”
The Purpose: To engage community and schools in a conversation about educating
children and to develop a community action plan.
The Focus: Uniting individuals and organizations for the education of all children in
Seattle Public Schools.
